I am a teacher at Lucerne Valley Adult School in Lucerne Valley. I teach computer-based business courses and job skills training to community members and students in the CalWORKS program. I contacted your school to obtain information about courses offered through your program that may be of interest to my students. When I contacted your office I spoke to Mr. Roy G. Biv.

The purpose of this letter is to commend Mr. Biv on the considerate and knowledgeable way he assisted me on the telephone. I teach telephone etiquette as a component of the training I give to my students and I feel Mr. Biv provided an excellent example of professionalism and courtesy. Although Mr. Biv could not give me specific information about your programs, he offered general information on the programs and provided your name and phone number for follow up assistance. The thing that impressed me most was the professional way he took my message to you. He ensured that my name was spelled correctly, repeated back my telephone number with extension and read back my message to you.

The professional and courteous way that Mr. Biv treated me reflects highly on the commitment and professionalism of your school. I look forward to coordinating our programs and working with such a fine institution.
