There is definitely something for everyone during this 16 day, 55 event extravaganza. They invite volunteers and you can get free tickets for helping. They definitely need help with distribution of the incredible booklets that outline all the events. I'm planning to go with a group to the "Sacred Space/Sacred Ground" event on Sunday, September 22 at Wright Ranch in Malibu. This is the same land that has the powerful sweat lodges John and I attend. It features music and dance by tons of people. Check it out on the site. Let me know if you want to go and we'll car pool from my house. Car pools are essential because the parking is very limited. I also plan to take the kids to the "Vocal Traditions of the East and West" by a Buddhist Monastic choir at the Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights on Saturday, Sept. 28. It's at 4:00 pm and free. If you haven't seen this amazing huge temple, you should check it out. They have a great bookstore too.
