HEAD START/ STATE PRESCHOOL

*FREE comprehensive Child Development program available to low income families, families receiving CalWORKs/TANF and children with special needs.

*Serving 3 and 4 year olds
*Serving families regardless of citizenship status
*Full day program: 5 days per week
*Part Day program: 3 1/2 hours per day, 5 days per week with morning and afternoon sessions
*Services for children of domestic violence
*Services for foster children
*Nutritious need's
*Individualized services for families
*Assistance with transportion for children in some areas

Please bring the following information with you.

        1.     Verification of Birth
                  A.     Birth Certificate, or
                  B.     Baptismal Certificate, or
                  C.     Medical card, or
                  D.     Passport
        2.    Child's immunization record.
        3.    Verification of income
                A.    Check stub
                B.     Unemployment verification
                C.    TANF recipients please bring Notice of Action
        4.     Medi-Cal card (if applies)
        5.     Social Security card of all members in the home
        6.    Foster parents of legal guardians must bring proof of guardianships.
